MAAS Aviation has completed its new (2nd) paint shop at Maastricht Aachen Airport in the Netherlands. The hangar will double MAAS’ capacity at the site which is the company’s MRO centre for Europe. MAAS recently welcomed its first aircraft to the new facility, a B737 from Ryanair. MAAS began it’s long history with Maastricht Airport some 30 years ago and in the words of Group CEO Darragh Hall, ‘It gives me great pleasure to be re-investing in Maastricht Airport with the announcement of this new state of the art hangar and a complete upgrade of our existing facility. We are very grateful to the Province and all our project partners for their continued support and we look forward to the ongoing development over the next 30 years of what has been a great relationship here at Maastricht.
