MAAS Aviation is a leading international aircraft painting company and is looking for a Sales support representative to join our team and further develop commercial excellence within the Group.
Our commercial team leads customer relationships with key accounts Airbus, Ryanair, EasyJet, other European airlines, leasing companies and VIP operators and is responsible for sales, business development and account management. The team consists of a Chief Commercial Officer, a European Sales Manager and the Maastricht Office Manager. To further strengthen the key account management for all our programmes, the team is looking for a Sales support representative to boost the sales planning and execution.
MAAS has operations in the USA, Germany, Netherlands and Lithuania.
Back-office support to the sales and operation planning team that offers exposure to clients in a multinational setting, requiring close collaboration with various stakeholders.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Drive the information exchange with all customers to ensure that all the required documentation is ready to support our operational team for the execution of the paint services;
- Coordinate any additional work with production, customers and finance
- Coordinate with the team for ad hoc jobs i.e. registration changes, component painting etc.
- Coordinate with customers regarding onsite rep information, security passes, aircraft arrival times.
The Sales Support representative will focus on the coordination between the sales team, customer representatives and the operational support team. The key responsibilities are (but are not exhaustive):
In coordination with the commercial team, connect with the customer and lead the gathering of the required information:
- Gathering client documentation such as engineering orders, aircraft drawings and paint specifications and ensure the timely provision of requested amendments/revisions.
- Coordinate paint supplies with the purchasing department
- Coordinate engineering support and assess the availability of our engineering support partners
- Liaise between customer and production team to confirm paint process schedules
- Coordinate with customers regarding onsite rep information, security passes, aircraft arrival times.
- Coordinate customer specification for aircraft weighing
- Liaise with the graphics department regarding required technical markings, drawings etc.
- Confirm aircraft input surveys are carried out on Day One by MAAS production personnel
- Ensure any additional works are documented by MAAS production team, pro-vide estimate to customer and follow up with production team on actuals
- Ensure additional works are provided to finance team before final payment is expected i.e. Day 4 or 5 of project
- Previous customer service experience desirable but not essential.
- Some previous aviation experience is desirable but not essential.
- Previous commercial experience is desirable but not essential.
- Computer literate and comfortable with Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive professional attitude.
- Well organised, process-oriented and flexible.
- Self-starter and able to work on own initiative.
- Good command of the English language.
In this role you will engage with different colleagues in the MAAS footprint and external parties such as:
- Chief Commercial Officer, European Sales Manager, Maastricht Office Manager
- Client representatives of key airlines/private operators/lease companies
- Operational support team members
- Finance / Accounts Payable
Key aspects as the role develops include:
- To support the sales team in the facilitation of timely quotations to customers;
- Assist Sales Manager in increasing the companies market share with airlines, leasing companies, cargo operators, VIP operators and military customers
- Support in the preparation of commercial business cases and quotes
- Support the CCO in developing our knowledge of market trends
