Statement on COVID-19

MAAS Aviation’s Continuing Response Efforts to the Novel Coronavirus Pandemic

Dublin, Ireland: March 16th 2020: MAAS Aviation’s top priority is to provide a safe environment for all employees, customers, suppliers and business partners while maintaining normal business operations. Currently MAAS continues to operate all nine of its paint shops in line with the public health advisories in Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany and the United States. In addition, the company’s twin-bay paint shop expansion in Kaunas, Lithuania remains in work and on schedule for entry-into-service in late 2020.

We are actively monitoring guidance and data from both the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to ensure continuing operations and minimize the disruption to our customer’s supply chains in a safe and responsible manner. To date we have implemented telecommuting options for most office based team members, initiated temperature checks for site based team members, eliminated the occurrence of non-essential visitors to site, minimized person-to-person contacts and mandated social distancing if required, minimized overlapping shift patterns and incorporated pandemic modules specific to COVID-19 avoidance and response into our on-boarding and recurrent training programs.

MAAS is committed to taking the steps necessary to provide a safe work environment and to minimize any disruption of service to our valued customers. Our approach will be monitored and updated as new information becomes available. In the meantime, please contact us should you have further questions or concerns.
