In General, the Aviation Painter is responsible for the direct hands-on labor necessary to complete the aircraft painting process to company and customer specifications.
Ideal for candidates with general production experience and a strong work ethic. No previous painting experience required.

The Aviation Painter is directly responsible for the following essential duties:
- Compliance of all health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and processes, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Cleaning and preparing the operational areas of the site for aircraft painting activities.
- Staging the aircraft for the aircraft painting activities prior to the commencement of the aircraft painting process.
- Masking activities to protect the “not-to-paint” areas of the aircraft.
- Pre-paint preparation of the “to-paint” areas of the aircraft, including but not limited to cleaning, paint removal and sanding and abrading as may be required by process.
- Positioning of stencils and other production aids which facilitate the aircraft painting in accordance with customer specifications.
- Mixing paints.
- Painting with electrostatic and HVLP equipment.
- Reads and interprets aircraft paint drawings and follows them accurately to accomplish paint job and ensures regulatory, emergency, and other customer placards are correct.
- Reads instructions and all cautions/warnings/notes information as necessary for proper and safe completion of assigned work.
- Installing mandatory and technical marking to the aircraft by paint or sticker decals as required.
- Ensures proper cleaning and maintenance of spray guns and other painting equipment.
- Additional and secondary duties supporting aircraft painting activities, such as cleaning technical areas, organizing production materials, etc. may be assigned from time to time.
- Attention to detail: A keen for detail is a must. When painting an aircraft, every little imperfection matters — positive attitude.
- Good work ethic: You should be a team player, motivated, committed to following instructions, always be on time, and a true representation of the MAAS brand.

- Physical strength and stamina: This job can be a workout! You might be on your feet for hours, stretching to reach high spots, or lifting heavy paint supplies.
- True quality mindset: Painting an aircraft isn’t a quick job, and rushing can lead to mistakes. It takes patience to apply multiple coats, work on detailed designs, and wait for everything to dry perfectly.
